5 MINUTE MEDITATION
TO BE MORE MINDFUL .........
Find short opportunities throughout the day to meditate.
Longer meditations are great, but every moment of
Mindfulness counts. Things that in the past felt like a waste
of time--I now use as opportunities to practice.
My top 5:
1. Sitting on an airplane
2. In a taxi, Uber or Lyft
3. Waiting for an appointment (OK to have eyes open--glance down
instead of looking around)
4. Between meetings at work
5. Before falling asleep at night
Before checking your email at work, try taking one mindful breath.
Know you are breathing in--know you are breathing out.
MINDFUL-YOGA
Mindful-Yoga, a workout for your mind. We work our muscles, eat right and sweat. But often neglect the one thing that can have as much if not more impact on our daily life--our mind. Mindful-Yoga uses breath-focused yoga to help calm our minds, reduce stress and just feel better.
